YouTube: KSI

YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI have finally confirmed that their long-awaited boxing rematch will take place on November 9, 2019, at the Staples Center in LA, but, before the fistfight, the war of words must take place in the press conference.

Before the first fight in August 2018, two separate press conferences were held, one in the UK and one in the US, with each receiving almost as much attention as the bout itself.

There was also controversy, particularly at the UK conference, after Paul’s father was attacked in the street by fans, and some very personal attacks were shared between the two fighters.

The rematch will take place on November 9, 2019, in the Staples Center.

With the fight only two months away, there will only be time for one press conference amid the training and inevitable online trash talk.

When is the KSI vs Logan 2 press conference?

KSI has confirmed in his announcement video that he and Logan will lock horns on September 14. The location for the press conference has not been revealed yet.

The British YouTuber said his tactic for the event will not “try to make fun of (Logan), because I’ve already done that. I want this to be a bit more direct, and more serious.”

KSI has already got the first win over Logan, after his YouTube video of the announcement racked up 3.4 million views in 24 hours vs Logan’s 1.9 million, beating the American to number one on trending in the process.

However, despite the massive YouTube audiences both fighters command, the bout itself will be streamed exclusively on DAZN, and although it has not been confirmed, it’s likely that the press conference will also be broadcast on the platform.

Presumably, highlights or even the full conference will be uploaded to YouTube after, as will the fight itself, but to see it live DAZN may be the only legitimate place.

In the 2018 fight, attempts to keep the stream exclusively on the pay-per-view YouTube page were in vain as millions watched on Twitch via illegal restreams. This could be part of the reason that DAZN has been selected this time around, but preventing Twitch restreams completely will be near impossible.
