For the thousands of Twitch streamers around the world, a clip going viral and being shared all over the internet can be a blessing or a curse, depending on the contents of that clip.
If you’re a smaller up-and-coming content creator, a clip getting millions of views could be the difference between 10 followers and 10,000 followers. However, it’s almost impossible to predict what will and will not go viral.
This point was hammered home on January 28 when a clip of a sleeping streamer waking up to hundreds of viewers catapulted into the top 10 clips after just 24 hours, or when one of someone being scared senseless by his daughter sneaking up on him caught traction around two years after it was originally clipped.
