The Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury bout may still be in the cards but the latter’s father dispelled the latest rumors of the anticipated boxing fight that painted a grim outlook for the event.

This comes on the heels of reports that the Tommy vs Jake fight had hit a snag to get “over the line” and there were a “couple of major factors” to iron out before the two could set a date.

While that may be true, Tommy’s father says he won’t have his influence over the negotiations in any manner.

It remains unclear when we’ll ever get a Paul vs Fury card, but there have been signs that the fight could happen relatively soon after Jake’s August event.
