Alberto De Barros is said to have ordered a sandwich at a Subway restaurant located in Stuart, Florida, but was soon “upset” with the sandwich artist after “finding out that his sandwich was not separated.”
Subway worker Cassandra Pierre-Louis informed law enforcement that she refused to serve De Barros due to him “causing a disruptive scene.” The angry customer then responded by throwing the sandwich at her.
The 54-year-old man soon left the fast food branch, as Pierre-Louis stated she followed behind and managed to take a photograph of his number plate, before he eventually drove off.
De Barros was soon released from Martin County jail after paying the required $1,000 bond and now awaits his formal charging in the form of an arraignment on February 1, 2024.
