Superstar Twitch streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff finally revealed his highly-anticipated brand new gaming studio that he will be streaming from, and it’s gotten everyone mindblown.
When NICKMERCS first moved back to Michigan in May, one of the first things he announced was that he’d commissioned a streaming and gaming lounge to be built inside of his home.
It quickly became apparent, based on his initial descriptions, that the room would probably be unlike anything anyone’s seen before, and that became evident on December 30, when Nick finally revealed it to his fan-base and the world.

“Eight months, and it’s finally all complete,” he said. “I can’t wait to show you guys this. This is a dream for me, this is unbelievable sh*t. When I take you through this room, you’ll be blown away.”
“We’ve actually invested a lot in this streaming and gaming space,” he went on. “We went all out. This is my home, this is where I’m going to raise my family and my kids. I’m going to retire from being a streamer in this room.”

Entrance and antechamber
At first glance, when entering the studio, one might think they’ve just stumbled across a high-end nightclub. The lounge, dark in its bare nature, is lit up with a lot of bright, neon lighting and a galaxy ceiling, which is “1,400 individual strands of fiber optic wire coming from three different drivers.”
The entryway features the NICKMERCS MFAM spartan logo embedded as a large neon sign in the ground, followed by an antechamber fitted with a comfortable couch and a flat-screen TV hanging over a fireplace.

Streaming area
The main area of the studio is split into two parts – Nick’s actual streaming desk, and a gaming area for others to enjoy. The streaming desk is as state-of-the-art as it gets, fitted with top-of-the-line PCs and monitors, and enough space for him to freely maneuver around.
In front of him is a refrigerator that Nick jokingly claimed was “made by aliens in outer space.” Thanks to some absurdly advanced technology, the glass doors of the fridge are fitted with monitors that can be customized to display images and animations, while still being clear enough for someone to see through to the contents inside.
The room’s design is spectacular, to say the least. The ceiling and walls surrounding the streaming desk features a plethora of hexagonal soundproofing panels, which, according to Nick’s assistant and tech expert Ulises ‘uLeeT’ Salazar, were designed solely for this project, and cannot be found anywhere else.
Gaming zone
The other section of the main area is where family, friends, and visitors can enjoy playing games, almost like a mini-LAN center but with the most up-to-date technology.
Each of the four stations has a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and high-end PC, with specs that are not too dissimilar to the computers that he himself uses to stream.

On the shelves are peripherals and gaming equipment provided by Nick’s partners ASTRO Gaming, SCUF Gaming, and Logitech, all programmed and synced to work instantly with any of the setups that are there.
Despite all of this technology, however, what grabs the eye first is a stunning waterfall located on the back wall, adding to what is an overall five-star atmosphere.
Community reactions
Many of NICKMERCS’ fellow star streamers and content creators chimed in with their opinion on this new gaming space, and there was a clear consensus that it was nothing like anyone had ever seen before.
Ninja, who has a spectacular streaming room of his own, was the first to admit that his pales in comparison to Nick’s.
Nickmercs new Gaming BASEMENT blows mine out of the water. It’s incredibly creative and elegant. Love it! Congrats @NICKMERCS

Maybe the only bittersweet aspect of revealing the room is that Nick won’t be able to use it for a few months as he will be down in Florida for the winter.
Once he’s back home and streaming from it regularly, he’ll probably never want to leave it again.
