August 1 marked the official gameplay reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and many streamers got to go hands-on with it, including Michael ‘shroud‘ Grzesiek.

Shroud got the opportunity to check out Modern Warfare at a gameplay event hosted by Activision where fans and streamers got their first look at what the game has to offer.
The latest Call of Duty installment looks to be the most ambitious title in years and as a result, he had a lot to share.

“It is extremely different,” he said. “It still has that like Call of Duty feel to it where you run and gun but they’ve definitely tuned it down. It’s a lot more tactical, slower-paced, like scoping in your weapons, changing your weapons. Overall, I’m a fan and I wanted to play it more.”

Shroud’s word holds a lot of weight considering his size and reach on Twitch so it’s good for Modern Warfare to see he has positive words to say.

“CoD is hard,” he said in a tweet. He was playing against many skilled players in the gaming community so it’s possible he was referring to the people there and not the game itself.

We’re still several months out from the release and we’re sure shroud will be just fine when he’s inevitably streaming.
Betas begin in September, beginning first with PS4 before coming to the other platforms.
Lots of information was revealed during the gameplay reveal too including all of the perks, weapons, killstreaks, and much more so fans have a good idea of what to expect ahead of release.
Modern Warfare releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 25, 2019.
