Legendary ring announcer Michael Buffer will attend and introduce the main event fight at the August 25 KSI vs Logan Paul boxing event in Manchester, KSI has revealed.
Michael Buffer is famous for his catchphrase “Let’s get ready to rumble”, and has been the announcer for countless iconic fights and appeared in many sports and boxing movies.
The KSI vs Logan Paul boxing match, which will also feature a fight between their younger siblings Deji and Jake Paul, is set to be a massive event thanks to the fighters’ respective YouTube followings.
But bringing in a name like Buffer should help give the event more mainstream appeal, and adds to the list of other big names in boxing involved, including the Mayweathers who have been training KSI.
Well this is BIG. We can confirm that @Michael_Buffer will be the announcer for the KSI vs Logan fight, August 25th. If you’re a boxing fan, you know how mad this is

Buffer’s ‘Let’s get ready to rumble!” catchphrase is so iconic, that he acquired a federal trademark for it in 1992, and has used it in boxing movies such as Rocky Balboa and 2000 wrestling movie “Ready to Rumble”.

He currently works as the announcer for HBO Boxing, ESPN and selected Sky Sports boxing matches in the United Kingdom.
This will be his first time working for a YouTube boxing match, which was revealed yesterday to be a pay-per-view live event on the platform.
Tickets for the event are on sale now, starting at a modest £30-40 for the cheapest, and rising to over £500 ($650) for the complete VIP package.
The second press conference was held on July 18th in London, but was cut short due to the Paul brother’s abruptly leaving the stage following a torrent of insults from KSI.
