Popular YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg managed to hold off losing his spot at the top of YouTube with the help of Mr Beast’s incredible ad campaign.

For the last few days, all eyes have been on the subscriber counts of both PewDiePie and T-Series, as the two are locked in a close battle for the spot of the most subscribed channel on YouTube.
While T-Series had been gaining on PewDiePie for days, even being posed to pass him late last week, a massive billboard and ad campaign by Mr Beast has kept PewDiePie sitting on top.

Given what Mr Beast’s campaign has done for PewDiePie’s subscriber numbers over the last four days — he’s gained over 900,000 subscribers in the last four days, according to SocialBlade — it’s no surprise that he gave Mr Beast a shoutout in his newest video.
“Thanks, Mr Beast,” Felix says at the beginning of the video. “When all hope was lost, you saved my life.”

While it’s certainly not a life-and-death ordeal, Felix has managed to roll through milestone after milestone on YouTube and has frequently prided himself on being the most-subscribed man on the platform.
Before ending his video, Felix was sure to issue one final plea to his viewers with an impassioned speech to close things out.
“This is out last chance. Listen up you stupid kids. I’ve had enough of you. I’m not going to pretend I like you. Cause I don’t,” Felix told his 68 million subscribers. “I care about one thing, and one thing only. To get to 69 million [subscribers] before that god damn…. You know what, it doesn’t matter. You know what to do.”

Even if T-Series manages to overtake PewDiePie at some point in the near future, he will still be able to hang his hat on being the most-subscribed individual YouTuber on the platform given that T-Series is an Indian record label.
