Ninja, TSM Hamlinz and more celebrate TimTheTatman’s weight loss

Fortnite star Timothy ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar showed off how much weight he’d lost, and popular personalities such as Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, and Darryle ‘Hamlinz‘ Hamlin shared their congratulations.

On October 23, Tim shared his progress photographs to Twitter, stating that he still has weight to lose, but that he’s lost 45 pounds.

“The left picture is when I was around 300, and the right picture is today at 255,” he tweeted. “Still more work to do but very happy with the progress!”

Support from friends flooded in, such as a message of congratulations from fellow Fortnite star Ninja, who used to stream on Twitch alongside Tim, but made the move to Mixer.

“Incredible!” he quote-tweeted. When a fan questioned whether his friend had used the carbohydrate-restricting keto diet to drop the weight, the streaming star replied. 

“I believe at the moment he is just eating a healthy amount of calories and healthier food. Maybe some cardio?”

The tattooed player then responded to the curious viewer’s query further with a quote-tweet of his own.

“I’m just doing 1,500 calories per day and not working out at the moment,” he said. “Trying to hit my goal weight (230) then going to eat a bit more and lift again!”

Team SoloMid pro Hamlinz also replied with a little congratulations of his own, but threw a comical twist on it.

“The more weight he loses the more we realize Tim has cake,” he said, alongside laughing and stunned emojis.

CEO of the Call of Duty League Chicago franchise Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez shared a congratulatory message to the Fortnite player as well, and told him that he was an inspiration to others.

“Bro wtf! Congratulations brotha, that’s inspiring as f*ck!” he tweeted. “Keep it moving you beast!”

Tim has amassed over four million followers on Twitch since he started streaming on the platform in 2012.

He has since gained a loyal Fortnite following since he began playing the battle royale title for his audience.
