Fortnite star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins shook up the streaming community after leaving Twitch to join Mixer in early August – and his recent string of successes on the platform show that his switch wasn’t in vain.

Ninja announced yet another major achievement with the site in a Tweet on August 29, revealing that he’d hit two million followers on Mixer in less than a month after transferring from Twitch.
“Today we hit two million followers on Mixer in less than a month!” Ninja wrote. “Absolutely out of this world. My goal on Mixer is not to get more viewers than everyone, but to try and lift as many streamers up with me and bring as much attention to this amazing platform as possible.”

Today we hit 2 million followers on @WatchMixer in less than a month! Absolutely out of this world. My goal on mixer is not to get more viewers than everyone, but to try and lift as many streamers up with me and bring as much attention to this amazing platform as possible.

Ninja’s two million follower mark follows his previous milestone just days after announcing his switch to Mixer, hitting one million active subscribers after five days of streaming on the platform – three of which were streamed live from Chicago-based music festival Lollapalooza.
That’s not all: this milestone likely resulted in a major payday for the streamer, earning an estimated $2.5 million for a mere business week of broadcasting – although the exact details of his partnership with Mixer aren’t public, so fans will never know exactly how much cash this achievement actually earned him.
