MrBeast fans make hilarious mistake after “free store” announcement

Popular YouTuber Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is best known for giving away insane amounts of cash and orchestrating impossible challenges – two concepts that he combined in an upcoming video, which resulted in some confusion from bystanders.

MrBeast uploaded a video in late January, where he opened a store that sold a plethora of expensive items like HD televisions, game consoles, and other valuables for just one dollar each.

While the video itself went over well – especially for his customers – MrBeast wasn’t satisfied with the final product, later bringing the concept back with a major change.

Instead of selling items for just one dollar, MrBeast decided to give the products away for free, claiming that he “didn’t want people to not be able to afford stuff.”

However, MrBeast’s plan encountered some unexpected potholes, along the way – most notably due to some widespread confusion over the store’s operating times and location.

MrBeast uploaded a video outside of the store on June 6, showing a massive line of people waiting in line for a chance at copping the free goodies. Despite their enthusiasm, the YouTuber had to let them know that the store won’t open until June 7 – likely resulting in some disappointment from those assembled.

That wasn’t the only issue that MrBeast ran into with his new project, either: according to the YouTuber, some fans went back to the previous location of his $1 store from January, doubtlessly prompting some understandable confusion from its current tenant.

“The free store isn’t at the same place as the last one!” MrBeast announced. “Someone told me that there was a huge line at the old store. The owner of that barber shop is probably super confused lol.”

This wouldn’t be the first time one of MrBeast’s crazy videos has incited some curiosity and confusion from participants, by far; in fact, the YouTuber uploaded a video offering bystanders $10,000 in a briefcase without saying a word in late April, causing some bystanders to give serious thought before taking the cash.

MrBeast is one of YouTube’s most popular creators by far, boasting over 19 million subscribers on the platform as of June 6.
