Matthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo decided to bring his stream into the bath with him, but with thousands of dollars of computer equipment laying around, it was only a matter of time until something fell into the water with him.
It’s something everyone is taught from a young age — electronics and water don’t mix. However, that didn’t stop Mizkif from trying to put on a show for his viewers while giving himself a bath on stream.
As part of a sponsored stream with Dr. Squatch Soap Co, Mizkif was told to “sit in a bath for 90 minutes,” and that’s exactly what he did. “I’m going to sit here in a tub, playing with their soap — a nice, calm, relaxing stream.”

With helpers running around to help set up the stream, which was filmed on a laptop camera beaming back to his computer at home in a discord call, Mizkif eventually hopped into the bath, albeit with board shorts on.
“Alright let’s put some soap in the water,” he said. “Slick, can you play some marbles for the boys?” He even called out the helper, asking his chat to give him some appreciation, just before disaster struck.
“Let’s give a big round of applause for crazy Slick out there—” with the audio cutting out briefly as the microphone unplugged from the cable hanging right above his bath. Mizkif tried to catch it mid air but his reactions failed him, with the expensive piece of equipment dropping right into the water.

The stream audio swapped from the hanging bathtub microphone to the in-built laptop one, giving viewers a chance to hear the aftermath as it happened. Mizkif was left in shock over what had just happened, with Slick walking into the room with the only appropriate reaction — “oh no, dude.”
“Sh*t, like I’m sorry,” Mizkif said after composing himself. “Is this your mic? F**k dude.” Slick hit back with a reply about how the microphone cost him $1,000, making the bathing streamer look a bit more frantically for a solution.
“Is it gonna work, should I try it? Do you think it’s completely broken? Do you think if maybe we put it in rice?”

Eventually Mizkif put the microphone aside once he learned the laptop microphone had kicked in, entering a zen state to put the embarrassing moment well out of his mind.
After the peculiar bath stream. fans looking to get a dose of Mizkif will have to wait a few days. The streamer announced that he “will be gone for nine days,” and while he’s going to miss his stream, he also said that he’s “gonna have a lot of fun” taking a break.
