Podcast extraordinaire Joe Rogan has shared his thoughts on the controversial occurrences in Netflix’s new hit documentary Tiger King – and questions how suspicious we should be of Carole Baskin’s involvement in her husband’s death.
While discussing the ongoing global crisis on the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan moved on to discuss the Netflix documentary that has the whole world talking: Tiger King.
It follows Joe Exotic, a recently incarcerated criminal during his days as a zoo owner in Oklahoma, focusing primarily on the large horde of exotic animals he owns and his everlasting feud with Big Cat Rescue CEO Carole Baskin.
However, everybody who has watched the show is asking one important question: did Carole Baskin kill her husband, Don Lewis, and feed him to her tigers? It sounds far-fetched, but many seem to think so, and now Rogan has offered his thoughts.
He said: “If you have a husband that’s a millionaire, and you raise tigers, then that guy disappears and no-one knows where he is… If that happens, I think people should be suspicious.”
The UFC commentator went on to explain how easy it would have been for Baskin to do. “All she needs is a meat grinder,” Rogan added. “She must have a meat grinder. She throws the husband in the meat grinder, throws the piles out there where the tigers eat, and they just tear him apart.”

With the way Joe explains it so nonchalantly, it’s easy to forget just how morbid the situation he’s describing is, but the common belief from viewers and some characters in the series is that it’s a very real possibility.
Of course, Rogan is no stranger to opening the floor to crazy theories on his show, with discussion topics over the years ranging covering just about every possible theory, conspiracy or event possible, so it’s not a surprise that this is something he wants to have his say on.
