IRL streamer shows how easy it is to get free meals because of your social media following

Popular Twitch streamers are used to getting all kinds of donations and gifts from fans, but it looks like they might have to add free meals to that list.

It’s a common occurrence on Twitch to see massive donation or sub trains for the biggest streamers, but ‘Dankquan’ has shown that Twitch clout extends beyond the platform itself.

During a live stream on November 26, Dankquan demonstrated just how easy it is to set up a free meal if you have a few thousand followers across various social media accounts.

In his purple-lit room, Dankquan was at the tail-end of a smoking session when he called up a local eatery to see about getting a free meal. Met with initial hesitation from the restaurant employee, Dankquan used his “clout coins” to retroactively pay the bill for his dinner.

“I have a livestream with Twitch. And then from Twitch I probably have like 60,000 followers, and across all of my shit, Snapchat included, it’s like a 100,000 or something, yes,” Dankquan said with his trademark swagger.

This was all it took to book himself a night out at the expense of a livestream while at the restaurant.

Dankquan is usually a hit or miss when it comes to these types of transactions, having attempted this in the past.

Thankfully this time he succeeded, uploading the video to his YouTube channel following the successful transaction.

At the time of writing, Dankquan has about 9,000 followers on Instagram, 27,000 subscribers on YouTube, 12,000 followers on Twitter, and 56,700 followers on Twitch.
