If you want to rewatch a video on TikTok, but you forgot to save the clip to your likes, here’s how to view your watch history on the platform.
Millions of people across the globe spend hours every day scrolling through their For You Page on TikTok; staying up to date with the latest trends and conversations, and posting videos for their friends and followers.
But have you ever been watching a TikTok when the app unexpectedly closes, or the page refreshes for seemingly no reason, meaning you lose that video you planned to save to your likes?
It’s a common frustration that countless users experience regularly, but fortunately, there is a possibility that you’ll be able to track down that missing video by accessing your watch history.
How to see your watch history on TikTok
If you want to go back to look through your watch history to find the videos you’ve been shown on the app, simply follow the instructions below.

- Open TikTok and tap the profile button in the bottom right corner.
- Tap the three lines in the top right corner
- Click on ‘Settings and privacy’
- Select ‘Activity center’
- Tap ‘Watch history’ and you’ll see your screen fill with your watch history from the past 180 days
If you want to delete your watch history, tap the select button in the top right corner before clicking on the ‘select all watch history’ button in the bottom left corner, and then the red delete button.
It’s good to delete your watch history if you find that the app is taking up too much space on your phone.
