Danielle Cohn got her big breakthrough TikTok predecessor Musical.ly, building up a legion of fans along the way. Expanding into YouTube content and the music industry, fans have followed Cohn’s journey over the years, which has taken a few wild turns.
But despite having been on social media for several years, fans have been left in the dark as to how old she is, with guesses varying from 14 to 18. So how old is she really?
Danielle Cohn’s real age remains a mystery
Despite claims from Cohn herself that she was 17 years old in 2022, the influencer’s age has yet to be officially confirmed as her father clarified to fans she is far younger. In a bid to protect his daughter from potential harm on the internet, Cohn’s father Dustin Cohn attempted to “set the record straight” in a now-deleted Facebook post.
“For years I have done the diplomatic thing while dealing with my daughter being online in a way I didn’t approve of and trying to have it handled out of social media because I figured the system would work and keep my daughter safe.”
There have been various leaked birth certificates as recently as 2021 that claimed Danielle was actually born in 2006, as her father has maintained. TikTok gossip account TeaTokRoom.USA posted a photo that a follower alleged was of Danielle’s birth certificate, which lists her date of birth as March 7, 2006.
But despite these various claims, the influencer has maintained that she was born in 2004 and is now 17. Her dad has since deleted his Facebook post.
Did Danielle accidentally reveal her age?
However, during a livestream in 2020, Danielle might have accidentally revealed her age. Responding to a user who asked if she wanted to have kids with her then-boyfriend Tua, Cohn said, “Yeah, I mean, of course I do. Obviously not right now, you know, ’cause right now would be not the best time to do that. But obviously in, I don’t know, like, five or six years, maybe? When I’m, like, 19 or 20.”
If taken literally, Cohn’s response would mean she was 14 at the time of the stream and 18 as of 2024.

However, in a statement to Insider, Cohn’s mother refuted that the teen revealed her true age.
“She said maybe in five years and then said 18 or 19—that’s not admitting she is 14,”
As fans became more interested in Danielle’s personal life, Dustin was concerned about people who may have an unsavory perspective on the TikToker: “I am finally saying something on social media because people need to be held accountable.”
Dustin’s concerns grew in intensity when Danielle dated fellow YouTuber Mikey Tua, when she was allegedly 13 years old, while Tua was 17 at the time. Tua spoke out about his relationship with Cohn on March 25, revealing how they first met and how “things are not always as they seem.”
Mads Lewis accuses Danielle Cohn of lying about her age
In February 2023, fellow TikToker Mads Lewis was asked for her thoughts on Danielle Cohn by Bryce Hall during a live stream,
Lewis responded, “I have known Danielle since I was eleven, I met her when she was nine years old – she’s lying about her age, 100%.”
However, Mads didn’t elaborate or clarify how many years Danielle’s age is off.
Danielle herself is aware of the interest in her real age, having made YouTube content about it back in April 2021. However, despite multiple claims that Cohn was around 17-18 years old at the time, the TikToker has yet to officially confirm her true age.
