Deji sells bloodstained gloves from Jake Paul boxing match

While KSI and Logan Paul might be YouTube’s most popular white-collar boxers, they aren’t the only entertainers to have stepped in the ring – and one of these content creators is looking to make a surprising profit off the sport.

KSI and Logan Paul faced off for the first time in August 2018 – but unlike their rematch, the undercard was filled with other YouTubers, including their own younger brothers.

Deji Olatunji and Jake Paul faced off ahead of their older siblings’ highly-anticipated match, with Jake Paul ultimately emerging the victor.

While Deji received a sound beating – losing to Jake by knockout – the British YouTuber showed that he was no slouch, managing to score several hits to the youngest Paul brother’s face during their bout.

Now, over a year later, Deji is revisiting their fight in a highly unexpected way. Rather than replaying their match for another reaction video, the YouTuber is selling the very gloves he used to pummel his opponent in an online auction.

Their historical significance aside, there’s something about these gloves that Deji was intent on advertising – more specifically, the fact that they’re covered with Paul’s blood, as he made sure to mention in his video on the topic.

“You guys know, when I fought Jake Paul, I made him bleed,” Deji announced. “He was the only one who bled during our fight. They still have Jake Paul’s blood on them. They have not been washed or cleaned.”

Currently, Deji’s eBay listing has reached £65,800.00 from 69 bidders – but it’s not just fans who are hoping to get their hands on the coveted gloves.

Drama Alert’s Daniel “KEEMSTAR” Keem has likewise placed a bid on the bloodstained gauntlets, albeit differently, warning Deji that a Jake Paul fan might buy the gloves and destroy all evidence of his pounding in the ring.

“…a Jake Pauler will buy and destroy,” KEEMSTAR cautioned. “I know we have not seen eye to eye. But I’ll pay you a fair amount and will keep them forever. I have been collecting for the YouTuber museum. Please reach out.”

For now, it looks like the bidding is still on – but Deji has more on his mind than just money, announcing that he will make a return to the sport in the wake of his older brother’s split-decision victory on November 9.
