Deji’s jab at Jake Paul backfires ahead of KSI vs Logan Paul rematch

The highly-anticipated boxing rematch between YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul won’t feature any other social media stars on its undercard – but that isn’t stopping YouTuber Deji from making a callback to last year’s fight.

KSI and Logan Paul’s match in 2018 saw a slew of YouTubers on its undercard, including a fight between Team 10 co-founder Jake Paul and the “comedyshortsgamer” Deji Olatunji.

However, the fight didn’t exactly pan out in Deji’s favor – Jake Paul won their bout by TKO in the fourth round, after Deji’s corner threw in the towel.

Despite Jake’s convincing victory, the youngest Paul brother didn’t go unscathed: he suffered a slew of headshots from Deji during their fight, leading to a hilarious video compilation that featured the YouTuber getting punched in the face 40 times – a fact that Deji made sure to bring up ahead of his older brother’s rematch.

“Crazy how last year I did this to Jake Paul,” Deji Tweeted next to a picture of Jake Paul’s bloodied face from their 2018 fight. “Time flies by, crazy!”

Deji’s jab didn’t go unnoticed: while some fans encouraged this continuing beef between the YouTubers, others clowned him for the post, with fellow YouTuber Yousef “FouseyTube” Arakat taking the opportunity to roast Deji.

“Have you acquired memory loss in the last year as well?” Fousey wrote, reminding him that, despite giving Paul a beating, he ultimately lost their fight.

This wouldn’t be the first time Fousey has called out Deji, either: the two started a beef in August, with Deji challenging Arakat to a sparring match during a livestream, claiming that his opponent was “nowhere near ready” to face him.

Not one to be outdone, Fouseytube responded to the callout in a YouTube video, claiming that he wanted “all the smoke” with both Deji and Jake Paul.

However, with KSI vs Logan Paul 2 going pro, it looks like these YouTubers will have to settle their differences on a smaller stage – although word of an official fight between the three stars has yet to be announced in light of the November 9 rematch.
