Australian YouTubers and members of The Click Crew, Elliot ‘Muselk’ Watkins and Lannon ‘Lazarbeam’ Eacott, have announced they will exclusively stream on YouTube going forward.
The two Australians were already very sporadic with their livestreams on Twitch, despite being partnered with the platform, as the majority of their popularity coming from YouTube.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the two creators have signed a deal to stream exclusively with YouTube Gaming, in addition to still creating their regular video content on the platform.
Lazar was already a popular YouTuber in his own right, but he really skyrocketed in fame when he switched to Fortnite full-time in 2017 and he’s never looked back.
The 25-year-old has over 12 million subscribers, so it’s clear the switch has paid off in a big way. He still creates content for other things, but Fortnite remains his bread and butter when it comes to views.
Hilariously, he ended up sleeping through his own announcement, so he posted the news to his followers long after the news had already broken.

According to the official press release, streaming on YouTube will allow him to “do more” in terms of providing more new content and making a bigger impact.
“Through starting streaming on YouTube, Lannan’s aim is to ‘do more,’ by showing his audience a different side of himself, experimenting with new digital content, and creating a bigger impact on the world of entertainment.”

Muselk, on the other hand, has over eight million subscribers, so he’s no slouch either. Like Lazar, the majority of his videos are about Fortnite and we don’t expect that to change with this announcement.
“Livestreaming is an incredible opportunity to both grow my channel as well as have even more meaningful interactions with my audience,” he said. “I’m so happy to have YouTube as my home for that, and bring my viewers both my video and live content together on the same platform!”

Both will stream each week, which could mean just one day or seven, but their initial broadcasts will be about raising money to help fight the wildfires in Australia.
The two YouTubers and the rest of The Click Crew have already raised over $300k AUD to help combat the fires and it doesn’t look like they are done chipping in.
News of these announcements come on the same day Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter also announced her move from Twitch to YouTube Gaming exclusively.
YouTube looks to be a serious player in the livestreaming war as we cross over into 2020, especially thanks to their recent big-name signing of 100 Thieves star Jack ‘CouRageJD’ Dunlop.
It will be interesting to see what the next domino to fall will be as the bidding war continues to rage.
