Another wild theory has emerged about megastar TikTok sisters Charli and Dixie D’Amelio, thanks to a particular pose they did to advertise their new nail polish collection – but Charli had the perfect way to respond to the wild conspiracy.
Charli and Dixie D’Amelio’s rise to fame thanks to video app TikTok has been unprecedented. Within the space of around a year and a half, they’ve taken their follower base from zero to a combined total of 130 million.
But their crazy success story, big brand deals, and involvement with huge celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez has had many fans trying to figure out if there’s something more to the sisters’ rise to fame.
Dixie was bemused September by an outlandish theory that suggested their politician father Mark D’Amelio facilitated his daughter’s influence and would one day run in an election and win over the younger generation.

But many people recognized the pose as supposedly being affiliated with the Illuminati, and began to flood the comments of the image with comments alluding to the theory, saying “she do be selling that soul tho” and “their souls: snatched.”
One commenter said “you could’ve chosen any other pose but did that?” and another seemed to be in two minds about whether there really was anything behind Charli and Dixie’s rise to fame, saying “I seriously doubt they sold their soul. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were in the Illuminati but…”

After weeks of comments about the post, and the image resurfacing on TikTok accounts, Charli finally addressed the crazy claims on October 3.
In a tongue-in-cheek video uploaded to TikTok, Charli lip syncs to the song ‘City of Angels’ by 24kGoldn, emphasizing the lyrics “sold my soul to the devil for designer,” and covering her eye as a reference to the original divisive image.
While not everyone has been entirely convinced, Charli has won many over with her hilarious mocking of the wild conspiracy theories about her family.
