An Amazon discount has dropped the price of Elden Ring by 17 percent, bringing the FromSoftware title to its lowest price since launch.
Publisher Bandai Namco shipped the action RPG earlier this year in February, inviting players to venture across FromSoftware’s first open-world Souls title.
Elden Ring hit the ground running on the sales charts, moving an astronomical 12 million units in under three weeks. At last count in mid-May, the RPG had crossed 13.4 million copies sold.
As Elden Ring slowly begins to drop in price, its sales figures will undoubtedly continue to climb, especially since the positive word of mouth has yet to slow.
Amazon discount lowers the price of Elden Ring
Normally priced at $59.95, FromSoftware’s Elden Ring has hit its lowest price to date thanks to a sale on Amazon.
Xbox One and Xbox Series users can currently pick up the game for $45.99. On PlayStation 5, Elden Ring bears a $49.94 price tag. Meanwhile, the PS4 version costs $47.80.

There’s no word on how long these particular deals will last. Those interested in taking advantage of the Elden Ring discount should probably act fast.
As time goes on, Elden Ring will continue to drop in price, especially once deals for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the like go live later this year. But spending sub-$50 on an experience that many have already dubbed a masterpiece seems a good entry point.
FromSoftware has regularly updated Elden Ring in the months since its arrival on PC and consoles. Yet, fans remain hopeful that even more content will eventually surface, specifically in the form of a DLC expansion.
Cut content such as Elden Ring’s mysterious coliseums has led many to believe that a PvP update of some kind could eventually see the light of day.
