Using the best PvE weapons makes beating Destiny 2’s most challenging content much easier. To help you overcome what lies ahead, you’ll need to be using the best guns that The Final Shape has to offer or run the risk of unnecessarily handicapping yourself.
Although off-meta weapons can be fun, it’s best to stick to the best Exotics and Legendary weapons when tackling more demanding content. The difference between a decent gun and a meta gun is massive, with your choice of loadout potentially being the reason why you clear either a Raid and Dungeon or a GM Nightfall.
With so many randomized perks and different weapon frames, there are always going to be guns that beat the competition. The PvE meta forms from these powerful weapons, and if you want the best DPS possible, you’ll need to use them.
A great weapon might excel because of its raw damage, incredible utility, or even a metal-shifting exploit. Regardless, using the best weapons possible is going to make your life much easier.
Best Top Slot Weapons for PvE (Kinetic, Stasis, Strand)
Primary Kinetic Weapons
Blast Furnace
- Weapon Type: Pulse Rifle
- Element: Kinetic
- Weapon Frame: Aggressive Burst
- Debut Season: Season 23 (Reissued)
- God Roll: Kinetic Tremors + Firefly/One for All
With Pulse Rifle proving so dominant in Echoes, Blast Furnace has emerged as one of the best primary weapons in the game. It deals great damage and gets access to Kinetic Tremors in column 3, opening up the possibility of using multiple damage perks at the same time. The best part is that you can attune this again following an update to Onslaught, making it not just practical but actually fairly easy to farm.
Breakneck
- Weapon Type: Auto Rifle
- Element: Kinetic
- Weapon Frame: Precision
- Debut Season: Season 23 (Reissued)
- God Roll: Subsistence/Feeding Frenzy + Onslaught
Look, I know you probably don’t want to go and grind Gambit. However, the reissued Breakneck is a fantastic weapon, being arguably the best Kinetic Auto Rifle in the sandbox. Its huge perk pool makes it a pain to farm, but if you persevere, the result is this incredible AR that deals Trace Rifle-like damage without the need for Special Ammo.
Midnight Coup
- Weapon Type: Hand Cannon
- Element: Kinetic
- Weapon Frame: Adaptive
- Debut Season: Season 23 (Reissued)
- God Roll: Firefly + One for All
Kinetic Hand Cannons have been some of the best PvE Weapons since they were buffed back in Season 21, but there weren’t too many good options. The reintroduction of Midnight Coup in Season 23 fixed that, bringing back a classic weapon with a refreshed perk pool, including Firefly in the third slot. Even the guns in The Final Shape haven’t slowed down Midnight Coup’s dominance.
Multimach CCX
- Weapon Type: SMG
- Element: Kinetic
- Weapon Frame: Lightweight
- Debut Season: Season 23 (Reissued)
- God Roll: Attrition Orbs + Kinetic Tremors
Multimach CCX is the best weapon for producing Orbs of Power. The combination of Attrition Orbs + Kinetic Tremors is incredible, with both perks synergizing with each other extremely well. If nothing else, this gun gives you a reason to farm Iron Banner when it is around, as even the most PvP-averse Guardian will want to pick up this incredible primary.
Warden’s Law
- Weapon Type: Hand Cannon
- Element: Kinetic
- Weapon Frame: Heavy Burst
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Reissued)
- God Roll: Fourth Time’s the Charm + Vorpal Weapon
Warden’s Law is strong regardless of how you use it, but this Hand Cannon truly comes into its own when paired with Lucky Pants. This combination lets Hunters reach unbelievable DPS values that can compete with Heavy weapons. It also makes Warden’s Law by far the highest-damage primary weapon in Destiny 2, so it wouldn’t feel right to leave it off this list.
Special Kinetic Weapons
Lost Signal
- Weapon Type: Grenade Launcher
- Element: Stasis
- Weapon Frame: Area Denial Frame
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Episode: Echoes)
- God Roll: Lead From Gold/Stats For All + One For All
Lost Signal is the first Area Denial Frame, bringing a new add-clear option to the ever-growing sandbox. This new Grenade Launcher is effectively a Legendary Witherhoard, leaving behind damaging pools that take out enemies who step in them. Though Lost Signal is fantastic, this frame’s true potential will only be unlocked once one of these can get Chain Reaction. In the meantime, this debutant will serve you well.
Perfect Paradox
- Weapon Type: Shotgun
- Element: Kinetic
- Weapon Frame: Rapid-Fire Frame
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Episode: Echoes)
- God Roll: Pugilist + One-Two Punch
Shotguns with One-Two Punch have been a staple of Destiny’s meta for years, and Perfect Paradox is the best option to fill that role. Not only does it get access to enhanced versions of both perks, but it also has an origin trait that loads ammo from reserves after melee final blows. This natural synergy and its Rapid-Fire Frame make this a must for anyone playing a melee build in 2024.
Scatter Signal
- Weapon Type: Fusion Rifle
- Element: Strand
- Weapon Frame: Rapid-Fire Frame
- Debut Season: Season 23
- God Roll: Overflow + Controlled Burst
Scatter Signal is one of the most popular top slot weapons, largely thanks to its impressive damage. It can even be used as a utility weapon, with Slice severing combatants and weakening their damage output by 40%. This versatility and how easy it is to get make it no surprise that Scatter Signal has emerged as one of the best PvE weapons, as well as the best overall Fusion Rifle.
The Call
- Weapon Type: Sidearm
- Element: Strand
- Weapon Frame: Rocket-Assisted Frame
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Episode: Echoes)
- God Roll: Lead From Gold/Beacon Rounds + Desperate Measures/One For All
Indebted Kindness set the stage for Rocket Sidearms to take over the Energy meta, and now The Call has arrived to do the same for Kinetic weapons. Its perk pool is nothing too special, but the frame itself is so strong that it hardly matters. This is now the best Strand Special weapon in the sandbox, and it’s not particularly close.
The Mountaintop
- Weapon Type: Grenade Launcher
- Element: Kinetic
- Weapon Frame: Micro-Missile Frame
- Debut Season: Season 23 (Reissued)
- God Roll: Auto-Loading Holster/Overflow + Recombination
The Mountaintop was once the most dominant PvP weapon in Destiny 2, but these days it’s PvE where the Grenade Launcher excels instead. Its reprised variant released in Season 23 hits hard when Recombination is charged up, and the popular top slot weapon can even be used to make platforming easier by rocket jumping.
Exotic Kinetic Weapons
Izanagi’s Burden
- Weapon Type: Sniper Rifle
- Element: Kinetic
- Exotic Perks: Honed Edge, No Distractions
- Catalyst: Peerless Edge
- Debut Season: Season 5
While some Exotic weapons are used for their utility, others are solely used to deal damage. Izanagi’s Burden is one of those Exotics whose sole purpose is to hit hard. With some practice, you can weave both Honed Edge and Peerless Edge into DPS rotations to massively boost your total damage. Alongside Still Hunt, this is the premier DPS option for snipers.
Khvostov 7G-0X
- Weapon Type: Auto Rifle
- Element: Kinetic
- Exotic Perks: The Right Choice, Shoot To Loot
- Catalyst: N/A
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Episode: Echoes)
This Exotic re-release of Destiny’s first-ever weapon is a pain to acquire, but it is all worth the effort for those who enjoy a simple yet effective gun. There’s not much to Khvostov, with its Exotic Perk simply ricocheting damage-enhanced bullets to other targets. However, this effect is stronger than it sounds, as these bullets deal a lot of damage and can even chain between several targets for efficient add-clear.
Monte Carlo
- Weapon Type: Auto Rifle
- Element: Kinetic
- Exotic Perks: Monte Carlo Method, Markov Chain
- Catalyst: Stochastic Vengeance
- Debut Season: Season 8
Monte Carlo was a niche Exotic that was outclassed by several legendary weapons. However, the introduction of a functional bayonet in Season 22, thanks to its catalyst, transformed it into a dominant Auto rifle, perfect for melee builds. It ensures that your melee ability is constantly off cooldown, letting you run around punching and stabbing enemies for fun and dealing immense damage in the process.
Outbreak Perfected
- Weapon Type: Pulse Rifle
- Element: Kinetic
- Exotic Perks: The Corruption Spreads, Parasitism
- Catalyst: Headseeker, Rewind Rounds, Rapid Hit, or Outlaw
- Debut Season: Season 23 (Reissued)
Statistically speaking, Outbreak Perfected is the best DPS primary weapon in the game, not including Lucky Pants. The sheer damage that this Exotic’s parasites deal was always impressive, but the huge Pulse Rifle buffs in The Final Shape and the addition of Rewind Rounds with its craftable variant have elevated this gun to top-tier status.
Witherhoard
- Weapon Type: Grenade Launcher
- Element: Kinetic
- Weapon Frame: Lightweight
- Debut Season: Season 11
- Catalyst: Silent Alarm
Rather than being overpowered, Witherhoard’s real strength is its versatility. It can be used for overtime damage against bosses, for clearing adds, and to inflict the Blighted debuff. This Grenade Launcher even has fantastic ammo economy, which makes it easy to spam fire without having to worry about ammo. It’s a true jack-of-all-trades weapon that will never let you down.
Best Energy Weapons for PvE (Arc, Solar, Void)
Primary Energy Weapons
Corrasion
- Weapon Type: Pulse Rifle
- Element: Arc
- Weapon Frame: Heavy Burst
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Episode: Echoes)
- God Roll: Enlightened Action + One For All/Voltshot
Heavy Burst Pulse Rifles are performing extremely well in the current meta, outperforming every other primary weapon frame. As such, Corrasion is a must-craft weapon, providing both incredible DPS and a stacked perk pool. Though Enlightened Action + Voltshot is probably the best all-purpose roll, any combination of One For All, Swashbuckler, Pugilist, Perpetual Motion, and Frenzy will be strong too.
No Hesitation
- Weapon Type: Auto Rifle
- Element: Solar
- Weapon Frame: Support
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Episode: Echoes)
- God Roll: Physic + Incandescent/Circle of Life
Originally written off as a gimmick gun, No Hesitation has since proven itself to be a genuinely top-tier Auto Rifle. Rather than just being a gun that can heal, it is an add-clearing machine that can also heal, both yourself and your teammates at that. That makes it the ultimate utility weapon and one of the very few legendary weapons that feels Exotic by nature.
Nullify
- Weapon Type: Pulse Rifle
- Element: Solar
- Weapon Frame: Heavy Burst
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Episode: Echoes)
- God Roll: Firefly/Heal Clip + Incandescent/Chaos Reshaped
Those who have managed to get a fireteam together to farm Salvation’s Edge have an option that’s even stronger than Corrasion, Nullify. This Solar Pulse Rifle is another Heavy Burst frame weapon that gets access to some absurd perks. You can use it as an add-clear weapon with Firefly + Incandescent, a utility weapon with Heal Clip, or even just a DPS god with Chaos Reshaped. This gun is as flexible as it is strong.
Ros Arago IV
- Weapon Type: Auto Rifle
- Element: Void
- Weapon Frame: Adaptive
- Debut Season: Season 23
- God Roll: Rewind Rounds + Onslaught
Adaptive frame Auto Rifles don’t see that much use in PvE. The frame’s slower fire rate doesn’t feel great to use, but what would happen if you took this frame and gave it some way to shoot faster? You’d end up with Ros Arago IV. This primary powerhouse is undoubtedly meta, as it outputs comparable DPS to Trace Rifles when it ramps up. The bad news is that it’s still only available as a world drop, so good luck getting one.
Zaouli’s Bane
- Weapon Type: Hand Cannon
- Element: Solar
- Weapon Frame: Adaptive
- Debut Season: Season 18
- God Roll: Explosive Payload + Incandescent
Even though Echoes’ seasonal artifact isn’t as beneficial for Solar as last season’s was, Zaouli’s Bane remains one of the best PvE Weapons. While several Hand Cannons are great in the current meta, Zaouli’s Bane is the best all-purpose option, as Explosive Payload lets it deal with tankier enemies in a way its competitors just can’t, while Incandescent gives this Hand Cannon great add clear potential.
Special Energy Weapons
Aberrant Action
- Weapon Type: Sidearm
- Element: Solar
- Weapon Frame: Rocket-Assisted
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Episode: Echoes)
- God Roll: Heal Clip/Ambitious Assassin + Incandescent
Say hello to by far the best seasonal weapon in Episode: Echoes. Aberrant Action is a Solar version of Indebted Kindness, with Voltshot being swapped out for the equally brilliant Incandescent. We had to wait to farm this incredible weapon, but now it’s available, and you won’t want to wait around to craft it, as this is easily one of the best guns in the game.
Acasia’s Dejection
- Weapon Type: Trace Rifle
- Element: Solar
- Weapon Frame: Adaptive
- Debut Season: Season 20
- God Roll: Reconstruction/Rewind Rounds + Incandescent
Trace Rifles got a big glow-up in The Final Shape, and Acasia’s Dejection was a beneficiary of these changes. This Solar weapon was already good, but an additional 20% damage versus both Minors and Majors has made it truly top-tier. If you aren’t into raiding, try using Retraced Path instead as an easier-to-access alternative, as both are strong options.

Forbearance
- Weapon Type: Grenade Launcher
- Element: Arc
- Weapon Frame: Wave Frame
- Debut Season: Season 23 (Reissued)
- God Roll: Ambitious Assassin + Chain Reaction
Wave Frames were nerfed in The Final Shape, but that doesn’t mean they are bad by any means. This meta-defining Grenade Launcher is still incredibly easy to use, and once you procc Chain Reaction, nothing will remain standing as the explosions chain from one enemy to another. When your Fireteam says that they need more add-clear, this is the weapon you should be switching to.
Indebted Kindness
- Weapon Type: Sidearm
- Element: Arc
- Weapon Frame: Rocket-Assisted Frame
- Debut Season: Season 23
- God Roll: Beacon Rounds/Lead from Gold + Voltshot
The Warlord’s Ruin dungeon introduced Indebted Kindness, the first-ever Rocket Pistol. Since then, The Call and Aberrant Action have followed suit, building on its initial success, but even now, this Arc Sidearm is still one of the best PvE weapons you can use. Its add clear capabilities with Voltshot, overall damage output, and excellent ammo economy make it impossible to overlook.
Techeun Force
- Weapon Type: Fusion Rifle
- Element: Arc
- Weapon Frame: Adaptive
- Debut Season: Season 21 (Reissued)
- God Roll: Rewind Rounds/Reconstruction + Controlled Burst
There’s not much between Techeun Force and Loaded Question, but the former takes this spot as Rewind Rounds gives it slightly better DPS. It’s extremely easy to use too, as all you have to do is land a full burst to activate Controlled Burst and then continue firing away. This is a great option to use alongside an auto-loading Rocket or Grenade Launcher, for an easy yet effective damage rotation.
Exotic Energy Weapons
Buried Bloodline
- Weapon Type: Sidearm
- Element: Kinetic
- Exotic Perks: Hungering Quarrel, Violent Reanimation
- Catalyst: Splitvein Lineage
- Debut Season: Season 23
Rocket Pistols are cool and all, but this Exotic takes things a step further by offering Devour and life steal on demand. With its catalyst equipped, Buried Bloodline can even weaken enemies too, giving it fantastic utility. This is a workhorse Exotic that works well with just about any build, but especially well with a dedicated Void loadout.
Choir of One
- Weapon Type: Auto Rifle
- Element: Void
- Exotic Perks: Command Frame, Fanatical Lance
- Catalyst: Onslaught, Destabilizing Rounds, or Subsistence.
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Episode: Echoes)
Destiny’s first Auto Rifle to use Special ammo did not disappoint, serving as a far superior alternative to the long-forgotten Cerberus+1. Like Cerberus, Choir of One can either be used as both an Auto Rifle and Shotgun. Unlike Cerberus, this gun hits incredibly hard, being capable of dealing over 3 million damage in a single phase against Phry’zhia, which rivals some of the best Heavy weapons in the sandbox.
Divinity
- Weapon Type: Trace Rifle
- Element: Arc
- Weapon Frame: Adaptive
- Debut Season: Season 8
- Catalyst: N/A
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out why Divinity is so popular. This Exotic Trace Rifle can debuff enemies to take 15% more damage from all sources, stuns Overload Champions, and makes it easier to deal precision damage. It’s so strong that in many Raid encounters, not running at least one Divinity is considered throwing, even after its substantial nerf in The Final Shape.
Still Hunt
- Weapon Type: Sniper Rifle
- Element: Solar
- Exotic Perks: Cayde’s Retribution, Sharpshooter
- Catalyst: N/A
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Episode: Echoes)
Still Hunt is Golden Gun in a Sniper Rifle. What more is there to say? Oh, it works with Celestial Nighthawk too, and hits nearly as hard as the actual Super. It’s possible to chain these throughout boss fights for some comical DPS, which is why it has been dominating loadouts. It received some substantial nerfs in Act 2, but the Season Artifact largely offsets that anyway.
Sunshot
- Weapon Type: Hand Cannon
- Element: Solar
- Weapon Frame: Unique (150 RPM)
- Debut Season: Season 1
- Catalyst: +27 Range, +18 Stability
Sunshot is a truly great Hand Cannon that is easily one of the best PvE weapons. The best part is that it’s easy to use. All you have to do is defeat targets and let the fireworks begin. Now that Season 23’s Solar-focused artifact has passed, Sunshot is a little weaker than before, but it never relied on the artifact to be good in the first place.
Best Heavy Weapons for PvE
DPS Heavy Weapons
Apex Predator
- Weapon Type: Rocket Launcher
- Element: Solar
- Weapon Frame: Adaptive
- Debut Season: Season 21 (Reissued)
- God Roll: Reconstruction + Bait and Switch
Apex Predator is the finest example of why reissuing weapons is such an important part of Destiny 2. This Solar Rocket Launcher was terrible when it was first released alongside Last Wish. Six years on, it’s now one of the best Rocket Launchers in the game, offering great ease of use and incredible DPS for just about any boss encounter, especially during a Solar Surge.
Crux Termination IV
- Weapon Type: Rocket Launcher
- Element: Arc
- Weapon Frame: Aggressive
- Debut Season: Season 23
- God Roll: Reconstruction + Explosive Light/Bipod
What on Earth was Bungie cooking when they came up with Crux Termination IV? Despite being a world drop, this Arc Rocket Launcher is spectacularly strong, featuring all kinds of meta-defining rolls. It straight-up outclasses almost every raid, dungeon, and GM Nightfall weapon. The bad news is that it’s a world drop, but if you happen to get a god roll Crux Termination IV, you’ve won the lottery.
Edge Transit
- Weapon Type: Grenade Launcher
- Element: Void
- Weapon Frame: Adaptive
- Debut Season: Season 23 (Reissued)
- God Roll: Envious Assassin + Bait and Switch
Heavy Grenade Launchers have been lurking around the meta for a little while. The first glimpse of their potential came with Cataphract GL3, but with the Strand HGL being exclusive to Trials of Osiris, most players didn’t bother farming it. Thankfully, Edge Transit offers the exact same god roll while being easier to farm, although with attunement now removed, you should still expect a grind.
Falling Guillotine
- Weapon Type: Sword
- Element: Void
- Weapon Frame: Vortex
- Debut Season: Season 23 (Reissued)
- God Roll: Frenzy + Bait and Switch/Surrounded
By their very nature, Swords are situational weapons that don’t scale well to most end-game content. Even so, they can be very strong in lower-level content where pure damage is preferred to sustainability. If you find yourself needing a Sword, Falling Guillotine offers the best DPS of any available blade, courtesy of its stacked perk pool that is filled to the brim with meta damage perks.
Scintillation
- Weapon Type: Linear Fusion Rifle
- Element: Strand
- Weapon Frame: Adaptive Burst
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Episode: Echoes)
- God Roll: Rewind Rounds + Bait and Switch
Strand Heavy Weapons haven’t been easy to come by, with most being either bad, exclusive to Trials of Osiris, or no longer available. It’s even worse for LFRs, with the dreadful Laser Painter being the only option until now. Thankfully, Scintillation is much, much better, with some incredible perk combinations for DPS, even if LFRs aren’t in the best place right now.
Add-clear Heavy Weapons
Commemoration
- Weapon Type: Machine Gun
- Element: Void
- Weapon Frame: Adaptive
- Debut Season: Season 12
- God Roll: Reconstruction + Killing Tally
While it’s no longer the undisputed best Machine Gun in Destiny 2, Commemoration remains a fantastic PvE weapon for add-clear. Watch any high-level player in Raids who is on add-clear duty, and they will probably be using this. Being able to procc Killing Tally, and retain stacks thanks to Reconstruction, makes this an easy S-tier weapon.
Hammerhead
- Weapon Type: Machine Gun
- Element: Void
- Weapon Frame: Adaptive
- Debut Season: Season 23 (Reissued)
- God Roll: Rampage/Rewind Rounds + Killing Tally
Commemoration dominated the Machine Gun meta for eleven seasons. However, Hammerhead’s return has seen it compete head-to-head. It’s a close call as which is better, with both Machine Guns being incredibly strong at what they do. Commemoration probably just about wins, but Hammerhead is a fine alternative that delivers in everything from Contest Mode raids to Vanguard Ops.
Hullabaloo
- Weapon Type: Grenade Launcher
- Element: Arc
- Weapon Frame: Compressed Wave Frame
- Debut Season: Season 23
- God Roll: Voltshot + Chain Reaction
In the grand scheme of things, Hullabaloo isn’t meta. However, that’s more so because add-clear Heavy weapons aren’t meta rather than it being bad. This weapon’s unique combination of Voltshot + Chain Reaction is dreamy. So much so, that if you are in a situation where you only need to worry about add-clear and not DPS at all, this Grenade Launcher outclasses even the best Machine Guns.
Pro Memoria
- Weapon Type: Machine Gun
- Element: Strand
- Weapon Frame: Aggressive
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Episode: Echoes)
- God Roll: Reconstruction + Firefly
Whatever you do, don’t fall into the trap of running Bait and Switch on this. It excels as an add-clear weapon with Firefly, not as a boss DPS weapon. Interestingly, this is the first Aggressive Frame Machine Gun, and its 600 RPM fire rate feels really strong at medium range. Will it replace Commemoration? Probably not, but Pro Memoria is still a superb option for those who don’t enjoy raiding.
Song of Ir Yût
- Weapon Type: Machine Gun
- Element: Arc
- Weapon Frame: Adaptive
- Debut Season: Season 22
- God Roll: Reconstruction/Rewind Rounds + Sword Logic
Available as a craftable weapon from Crota’s End, this Machine Gun is ugly. Even though it’s not exactly a looker, Song of Ir Yût’s effectiveness cannot be disputed. In many ways, this is the Arc version of Commemoration, with Sword Logic taking the place of Killing Tally. It’s not quite as good as the Void Machine Guns on this list, but during an Arc Surge, this LMG becomes an add-clear monster.
Exotic Heavy Weapons
Dragon’s Breath
- Weapon Type: Rocket Launcher
- Element: Solar
- Weapon Frame: High-Impact
- Debut Season: Season 23
- Catalyst: Pyromancer
From Anarchy to Witherhoard, weapons that deal overtime damage have always featured in Destiny’s meta. Given this, it’s no surprise that Dragon’s Breath is so popular. Fire a shot, switch to a Special DPS weapon, switch back, and shoot again. All you have to do is follow this simple rotation to output some of the best DPS possible.
Microcosm
- Weapon Type: Trace Rifle
- Element: Kinetic
- Exotic Perks: Paracausal Beam, Paracausal Imbuement
- Catalyst: N/A
- Debut Season: Season 24 (Episode: Echoes)
Microcosm is a Trace Rifle that deals a lot of damage. That’s it, that’s the weapon. It also charges your Super quickly, but that’s a secondary benefit to the immense damage. It’s so strong that a Fireteam of three using it can one phase Grasp of Avarice’s Phry’zhia the Insatiable. All you have to do is hold fire and track the target until you run out of ammo. It’s seriously that easy.
Thunderlord
- Weapon Type: Machine Gun
- Element: Arc
- Weapon Frame: Adaptive
- Debut Season: Season 4
- Catalyst: Return Stroke
No, Thunderlord is not a good boss DPS weapon. Whoever is telling you otherwise is trolling or ill-informed. However, it is a genuine jack-of-all-trades Exotic with no real downside. From taking out champions to mowing down combatants, there’s not too much that this lightning-spewing Machine Gun can’t do.
Tractor Cannon
- Weapon Type: Shotgun
- Element: Void
- Weapon Frame: Unique (80 RPM)
- Debut Season: Season 1
- Catalyst: +3 Magazine, +50 Inventory Size
Similar to Divinity, Tractor Cannon is a utility weapon that debuffs enemies. After being shot by this bizarre-looking Exotic, combatants take 30% more damage from all sources. That makes Tractor Cannon a fantastic option to suppress bosses and let your team deal a lot more damage. It can even be partnered with another shotgun with One-Two Punch and Synthoceps for some remarkable numbers.
Whisper of the Worm
- Weapon Type: Sniper Rifle
- Element: Solar
- Weapon Frame: Unique (80 RPM)
- Debut Season: Season 23 (Reissued)
- Catalyst: Whispered Breathing
Assuming you can land precision hits over and over, Whisper of the Worm is a top-tier DPS weapon. It isn’t overly forgiving and just isn’t viable in some encounters, but where it excels, it is very strong. This is especially true following the sniper buffs in Season 24 that drastically reduced flinch, making Whisper much easier to use.
