A My Hero Academia cosplayer transformed into Ochako Uraraka with their true-to-life costume. The artist’s perfect re-creation of the anime heroine Uravity will leave fans in awe, as she defies gravity itself.

Few animes have rocked the medium like My Hero Academia has. Ever since its 2016 debut, the show’s story about a high school that trains teenagers with superpowers called ‘quirks’ has become a worldwide phenomena.

A talented cosplayer shared her incredibly accurate take on the series’ beloved character Ochako Uraraka. Her detailed outfit brought the student to life, and is so good it will have you seeing double.

Cosplayer defies gravity as Ochako Uraraka

Ochako is a student of class 1-A at U.A. High – the premiere school for training the next generation of heroes. The kind hearted heroine’s quirk is called ‘Zero Gravity’ and she is able to make anything she touches become weightless.

Cosplayer ‘_sarenji_‘ became the character’s alter ego ‘Uravity’ with a stunning outfit. She captured Uraraka’s look by accurately mimicking her rosy cheeks using blush, and re-created her striking brown eyes with contact lenses from ‘uniqso.’

The artist also nailed the heroine’s signature hairstyle, faithfully mirroring her iconic short brown bob. The whole thing is tied together as she poses in the character’s uniform.

Sarenji gave her followers a peek into the process of bringing her cosplay together. In a picture posted to her Instagram, fans get to see the amount of detail and hard work that went into making her costume.

The artist struck Ochako’s iconic hand pose from the show, while wearing her black and pink hero costume. Her bodysuit includes details like Uravity’s iconic belt, and knee high boots.

The cosplay artist also uploaded a photo of her as Uravity in action. In the shot, she uses her power to manipulate rocks and debris, ready to throw at her enemies.

My Hero Academia has continued to have one hell of a year, as it’s never been more popular. The series got its own theatrical film in February, and just wrapped up its fourth season arc with an epic finale.
