A skilled Demon Slayer cosplayer shared her enchanting take on Mitsuri Kanroji and brought the passionate but deadly Love Pillar to life with an incredibly accurate costume.

2019 was an important year for anime with breakout shows like Demon Slayer taking the medium by storm. Viewers were taken by the series’ dark themes of a boy whose family is slaughtered by demons.

A cosplay artist breathed life into one of the show’s deadliest characters Mitsuri Kanroji. The detailed outfit perfectly re-creates the swordsman’s vibrant look, and will leave fans awestruck.

Cosplayer becomes Demon Slayer’s Mitsuri 

In the series, the most powerful swordsmen in the land belong to the Demon Slayer Corps. The strongest fighters in the organization are known as ‘Pillars’ as they posses immense powers with their breath-style attacks.

Cosplayer ‘yukanoi_‘ shared her true-to-life costume of the Love Pillar Mitsuri Kanroji on social media. In the photo, which was taken by ‘Momo.S Wonderland’, she poses with the anime heroine’s katana which twists as if she’s attacking.

The talented artist also nailed her signature pink and neon green hair, which splits into three braids with thick bangs that fall on to her face. The cosplayer admitted in the pics caption that the wig was “heavy,” but it paid off.

Yuka’s costume is an incredibly faithful recreation of Mitsuri’s outfit in the show. From her flowing white kimono with beautifully intricate patterns to her striking green eyes, she looks just like the character.

The Vietnamese artist collaborated with fellow cosplayer ‘rea.tee‘ who pulls off an incredibly portrayal of the Snake Pillar Obanai Iguro. For a special valentine’s day post, the two posed together in an adorable picture fitting of her character’s love style.

On January 21, 2019, the cosplayer hilariously posted a side by side shot of herself with the anime character on Instagram, and they look insanely identical. Pulling the perfect pose, she has us seeing double.

Demon Slayer was wildly popular with anime fans during its 2019 series debut. The 2016 manga became a worldwide phenomena with its TV series adaptation by studio Ufotable.
