The only European event scheduled for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 season has officially been announced.
Eagle-eyed Call of Duty fans already knew where the UK event would be held, as the CWL Pro League Handbook listed CWL London as one of the mandatory events that Pro League teams would have to enter during the season.
CWL Fort Worth is listed as the second confirmed Open event, but the Pro League Handbook lists two more mandatory Open events and even names them, with CWL Anaheim and CWL Fort Worth mentioned alongside the European event.
5.6.1. Open Events Teams and Players will be required to participate in all 2019 CWL Open Tournaments, including, but not limited to: CWL Fort Worth, CWL London and CWL Anaheim (collectively, the “Open Events”).

Now, an official announcement has been made, with the CWL teaming up with British tournament host Gfinity to confirm that CWL London is officially happening.

The tournament will take place at the Copper Box Arena, located inside the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London. Running from Friday, May 3 to Sunday, May 5, the three day event will see a $75,000 Open Tournament and the Pro Tournament which will see 16 of the world’s best teams battle it out for their share of the $325,000 prize pool.

Before CWL London though, pro teams will be focused on the CWL Pro League, which officially kicks off on Monday, February 4.
