A major issue that was preventing some players from accessing the CoD: Black Ops 4 Private Beta has been fixed.
Despite having a legitimate Beta code, players were not able to redeem them online for a valid key code to download the Beta on the PS4.
Although it was scheduled to launch on August 3 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET, the Private Beta servers actually went live almost a full day early on the PS4 for some regions, starting with North America.
However, players were reporting that the Beta code they had redeemed online was yielding a download key code that was 13 characters, which is one more than the max 12 that can be entered in the Playstation Store for redemption.

Activision’s support team commented on the issue, explaining that the download codes were being shown in error and that if someone had received a 13 digit code, the Beta was likely not yet available in their region anyway.
However, the issue seems to have been resolved, as CoD news outlet GamingINTEL has reported that the 13 digit download codes have now been replaced by valid 12 digit keys.
This appears to have been resolved in time for everyone to enjoy the global launch of the Private Beta on the PS4, which took place on August 3 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET.
