European based esports organization Red Reserve have added Ben ‘Bance’ Bance as the fifth player of their professional Call of Duty team for the upcoming Black Ops 4 competitive season.

Bance was unveiled as Red Reserve’s fifth on September 19, in a post on the org’s official Twitter page.
The roster move was announced shortly after the upcoming season’s competitive format was revealed to be 5v5, as Red Reserve became the first major org to formally announce the addition of a fifth player.

Bance will join a roster that is already considered to be among the best in competitive Call of Duty, featuring Joseph ‘Joee’ Pinnington, Rhys ‘Rater’ Price, Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris, and Matthew ‘Skrapz’ Marshall.
After Skrapz joined the team halfway through the previous WWII season, Red Reserve went on to place second at CWL Anaheim and third at the Pro League Stage 2 Playoffs, before finishing in the top eight at the CWL Championships.

Bance joins the org after spending the past two-plus years with Splyce, a period during which the team was able to place high at a number of events, including winning the CWL Global Pro League Stage 1 during the Infinite Warfare season.
Unfortunately, Splyce’s roster fell apart after the team had a difficult end to the WWII season, culminating with a 17-24 placing at Champs.
