One of the all time great Call of Duty players may have played his last event after failing to qualify for the Black Ops 4 Pro League.

The Pittsburgh Knights needed only one win to advance to bracket play or two wins to automatically qualify, but they dropped both matches to go home early.
Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte vented his frustrations after being eliminated from contention in the Pro League Qualifier.
“Work harder than the entire community just to be let down. I really thought this was it. This was the year,” said Parasite.
Same shit every year. Work harder than the entire community just to be let down. I really thought this was it. This was the year.

He then questioned if competing was still an option, saying, “I’m not interested in competition in the Amateur circuit so I’m going to evaluate my options as a competitor.”
Parasite won the Black Ops 2 World Championship and was a top player in the game for years, but his career started to fade in Infinite Warfare.

Things took an even worse turn when Parasite failed to qualify for the Pro League during the WW2 season, missing out on Stage 1 and 2.

After failing once again in Black Ops 4, Parasite may be hanging up his controller in favor of coaching.
“If any pro league teams are looking for a coach/ analyst feel free to contact me. I’ll be exploring my options outside of competing,” said Parasite.
The Pro League will also offer a substitute system this season, allowing teams to expand their rosters, meaning Parasite may have more games to play if a team picks him up. But as of now, Parasite may have played his last competitive Call of Duty match.

Update – Jan 20
After tweeting all of this out following his team’s elimination from the PLQ, Parasite has since reconsidered his position and his latest tweet leaves the door open for him possibly returning to competing this season.
After having time to think about it I will be pursuing a serious coaching position in the pro league however, if I don’t find an opportunity I deem worth it. I’ll continue competing, prove my worth and continue trying to get in the league during roster change periods.
