The second CWL 2000 Series tournament of the Black Ops 4 season has now wrapped up for the North American region.
OpTic Gaming defeated rivals eUnited in the finals, claiming the 2,000 Pro Points and $1,500 first place prize.
Despite the hype and anticipation leading up to this match, OpTic turned it into a very one-sided affair, as the final scoreline was 3-0 in favor of the champions.
The first map, Hardpoint on Arsenal, saw OpTic 100 point club eUnited, winning 250-95. The Gridlock S&D was much closer, ending with a 6-4 scoreline.

The tightest game was the Control on Payload, which saw OpTic pull off a strong comeback to win 3-2 and wrap up the 2K.
OpTic have now won both 2K tournaments to start off the Black Ops 4 season, although they weren’t as perfect as when they went 27-0 in overall map count during last week’s competition.

The first seven rounds of the tournament were played on November 11, with the competition resuming on the 12 for the quarterfinals and on.

- QF1: OpTic Gaming 3-1 Orgless 2kk
- QF2: Excelerate Gaming 1-3 UYU
- QF3: eUnited 3-0 YERRRR

- SF1: eUnited 3-0 Splyce
- SF2: OpTic Gaming 3-1 UYU
- Final: OpTic Gaming 3-0 eUnited
As was the case in week one, several powerhouse teams were notably missing from the final eight that made it to day two.
This included Luminosity Gaming, FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, and 100 Thieves, all of whom were eliminated in round seven and finished 9-16.
Meanwhile, the defending World Champion roster of Team Envy finished 17-32 again, failing to move past the sixth round for the second week in a row.
OpTic’s new roster has been meshing very well, which has resulted in back-to-back 2K tournament wins.
