The 2023 Call of Duty League Championship Weekend is now in the books as New York Subliners hit peak form at the right time with a dominant sweep over Toronto Ultra to claim their very first ring. If you missed any of the action from the $2.4m Modern Warfare event, we’ve got you covered below with a full recap.
After a full week of heated competition and plenty of game five’s, it was New York that took out the Champs trophy in 2023. Despite falling to Toronto Ultra earlier in the bracket, the squad rebounded strong in the grand finals with a dominant 5-0 sweep.
On the other side of the field, the likes of OpTic and Røkkr found themselves out of the running days prior as teams like Seattle and Boston hit some hot streaks over the weekend. But ultimately, only one could take out the trophy.
A full team of superstars on Subliners just earned their very first rings. For HyDra, he walked away with the overall 2023 CDL MVP award to boot, while KiSMET took home extra silverware as the Champs MVP too.
Here’s everything you need to know about the CDL Champs 2023 tournament.
