The March 10 1.17 update in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2 added a brand new shotgun called VLK Rogue, and we’ve got all the details about the weapon below.
As Season 2 continues to roll on in Modern Warfare, so does the influx of new content, as Infinity Ward released much more in their March 10 patch.
While the biggest addition was obviously Warzone battle royale, the developers also added a brand new weapon to multiplayer – the VLK Rogue shotgun.

The VLK Rogue is described in-game as “an agile 12-gauge mag fed shotgun from VLK with extensive options to modify range, stability, and maneuverability.”

It’s the third new gun added in Season 2, following the Grau 5.56 assault rifle and Striker 45 SMG, but it’s the first shotgun Infinity Ward have introduced since the game dropped last October.
Everything you need to know about this weapon can be found below, including how to unlock it, the types of attachments, and more.
How to unlock VLK Rogue shotgun
[ad name=”article2″]
Unlike the Grau 5.56 and Striker 45, which could only be unlocked after reaching certain tiers in the Season 2 Battle Pass, getting the VLK Rogue requires players to complete an in-game challenge.
It’s pretty straightforward, albeit time-consuming; all you have to do is get seven kills using a gun with five attachments in 15 different matches.
It’s not clear whether or not the matches have to actually be completed for the progress to count. A good idea might be to try quitting after getting the seven kills and see if you received credit for doing it once. If yes, then it’ll be a lot faster to just keep quitting each time. If no, then you’ll have to complete each match to get credit.
