The first Call of Duty Modern Warfare campaign trailer has debuted and it gives players a good idea of what to expect from the upcoming title.

The hype train first started rolling once players discovered the campaign trailer was being shown in the main menu of Black Ops 4, but those who didn’t own the game were left in the dark.
Luckily, Sony’s State of Play broadcast led off with the trailer so everyone was able to get a look at what was to come.
The trailer ran a little over two minutes and led off with the fan-favorite character Captain Price, who has been a staple of the Modern Warfare series, and gave us a virtual tour of the various locations we’ll be visiting – everywhere from London and the Middle East to other global locations.
The story follows a group of soldiers led by Price who are fighting to retrieve stolen chemical weapons and from the looks of things, it’ll be jam-packed with action set pieces that will obviously feel right at home in a Call of Duty title.

The Modern Warfare franchise has been known for its hard-hitting stories and it’ll be interesting to see the direction it goes in after all these years after Modern Warfare 3, the most recent installment in the series.
We have a good idea of the types of locations that will be covered thanks to the cinematic trailer, but there’s still a lot of mystery.
