Dr Disrespect makes surprise appearance in new Black Ops 4 ‘The Replacer’ commercial

Activision

Call of Duty Black Ops 4’s ‘The Replacer’ advert features everything from the government shutdown in the United States to Brexit, but nobody could have expected Dr Disrespect to show up as well.

The Twitch streamer might have moved his popular Code Red tournament from Call of Duty Blackout to Apex Legends, but that hasn’t stopped Activision wanting him to appear in the latest advertising for Black Ops 4.

This new ad promotes the launch of Operation Grand Heist, which gives fans two new maps to play with on multiplayer, as well as big changes to the Blackout game mode.

G FUELThe gaming industry is investing heavily in influencers and Dr Disrespect is one of Twitch’s biggest names.

Dr Disrespect is joined by famous actor Peter Stormare, best known for his roles as Gaear Grimsrud in Farg and John Abruzzi in FOX’s popular TV series Prison Break.

He might not have been breaking out of Fox River Penitentiary in this new CoD advert, but Stormare certainly had a lot to say about the new update. “Black Ops 4 is releasing Operation Grand Heist,” he says. “Full of new maps, weapons, characters, vehicles and so much more.”
