The CoDBurner, notorious for releasing rumors regarding possible roster moves in professional Call of Duty, has returned to give fans a glimpse of what may going on behind the scenes, including intel on a huge Evil Geniuses change and the future of Matthew ‘Skrapz’ Marshall.
The CWL Pro League is currently in the cross-divisional portion of the competition, with teams facing off against opponents from the opposite group .
With some teams struggling, many are looking forward to the second roster movement period of the season, when organizations can make changes to their lineup in an attempt to improve their chances of success. With the window set to open on Friday, April 5, CoDBurner has given fans a look at some of the possible changes we may see in April.
Wholesale changes at Evil Geniuses
According to CoDBurner, Evil Geniuses will make a number of roster moves, as they attempt to right the ship after a disastrous start to their Pro League campaign.
Currently sitting at a 2-9 record, CoDBurner said that both Tyler ‘Felo’ Johnson and Jevon ‘Goonjar’ Gooljar-Lim could be on their way out, and that Dillon ‘Attach’ Price wants “everyone dropped.” Tommy ‘ZooMaa’ Papparatto and Jacob ‘Decemate’ Cato are mentioned as possible replacements.
Attach allegedly wants to drop the rest of the Evil Geniuses CoD roster.
Team Envy, Skrapz and Red Reserve
CoDBurner also revealed that a major shake-up is on the horizon at Team Envy, with Cuyler ‘Huke’ Garland reportedly wanting the rest of the roster dropped, in favor of building a new squad around himself and Red Reserve’s Skrapz.

If this takes place, Bryan ‘Apathy’ Zhelyazkov and Patrick ‘ACHES’ Price will likely head to Evil Geniuses, although the signing of Skrapz is not a certainty just yet.
The leaker believes that “Red Reserve are definitely making a change”, with Alex ‘Alexx’ Carpenter and Conrad ‘Shockz’ Rymarek lined up to replace Ben ‘Bance’ Bance and Joe ‘Joee’ Pennington, and are willing to sell Skrapz if they are unable to convince him to stay. The cost would be around $350,000 according to the Burner, and the Red Reserve star is doing little to quell the rumors, tweeting: “Lining up my team offers, business mode.”

Team Reciprocity, SpaceLy and FaZe Clan
Alexx is also on the radar of Team Reciprocity, according to the CoDBurner, who states they would like to bring him in to replace Sean ‘Seany’ O’Connor. The leaker also believes it’s unlikely that Michael ‘SpaceLy’ Schmale will leave Gen.G after he was placed on their bench, as he is receiving guaranteed money as part of his contract.
It also appears that Call of Duty fans won’t see FaZe Clan reappear in the CWL Pro League this season, as the CoDBurner wrote that the legendary organization declined the opportunity to buy Excelerate Gaming’s league spot.
CoDBurner says that more options will open up following next week’s CWL Pro League matches, as more teams decide on their immediate future. Of course, all of the information released by CoDBurner is unconfirmed, so it’s worth taking all these rumors with a pinch of salt.
