A Modern Warfare leaker has seemingly revealed the maps and modes that Call of Duty fans can expect to play when the new beta drops.

Call of Duty fans across the globe are gearing up for the release of the highly-anticipated Modern Warfare. The game, which is the first installment in the Modern Warfare series since 2011, has already been shown off by streamers and content creators – while PlayStation 4 owners got their hands on the 2v2 Gunfight alpha.
However, attention has quickly turned to the upcoming beta test. PS4 owners will again get a head start on the competition as Xbox and PC players have to wait their turn. Yet, that wait could get even longer as one leaker has begun filtering out details of what players can expect when they dive into the beta.

According to YouTuber TheGamingRevolution, who has had accurate leaks for Modern Warfare’s killstreaks and multiplayer perks previously, PS4 players will see a level cap of 10 once they get involved in the beta.
This, apparently, will not be lifted until Xbox and PC players also get their hands on the beta at a later date. Once they do, though, there will only be an extra ten levels to achieve during the beta and more games modes will be unlocked for all platforms – if the leaker is to be believed.

As for maps, there will apparently be 7-9 maps, with four coming in the form of the 2v2 Gunfight locations that players have already played.
According to his information, players can expect to play maps called Hackney Yard, Cave, Runner, Quarry – not the map from Modern Warfare 2, though – as well as Raid, which is a 10v10 map, and again, not the one from Black Ops 2.

Of course, none of this information has been confirmed and could very well change before players get their hands on the Modern Warfare beta on September 12.
While the YouTuber has been a reputable source of information in the past, it’s best to take everything with a pinch of salt until Infinity Ward themselves reveal what you’ll be able to play.
