Best STG44 Vanguard loadout

- Underbarrel: M1941 Handstop
- Magazine: 9MM 24 Rnd Fast Mags
- Ammo Type: Lengthened

With 10 different attachment types to consider, it can be difficult figuring out where to even start. So for a comprehensive overview of this build, let’s break down every STG44 attachment to understand how they help.
Up first comes the F8 Stabilizer along with the VDD 760MM 05B. Together, these combine for improved accuracy and control, as well as a slight increase in damage. These are essential in making the STG44 exceptional at medium range. Even though some of these attachments might negatively impact handling and speed, the focus of this class is ranged effectiveness.

When it comes to picking an optic, this is purely down to your personal preference. For this build, we went with the Slate Reflector for something simple in order to avoid any huge downsides.
Next, we decided to run with the VDD 27 Precision Stock to start combating the negative effects added thanks to earlier attachments. With this equipped, your ADS speed and recoil will also be improved to boot.
The M1941 Handstop underbarrel complements this STG build nicely as well, adding even more recoil control to keep your shots on point.
Things start to get crazy when it comes time to settle on a Magazine. For this optimal STG loadout, we’ve gone with the .30 Russian Short 20 Round Mags to drastically improve your damage. While it cuts your magazines down to just 20 bullets and even impacts your recoil somewhat, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives and allow greater control and power.
With this attachment, you’ll have not just improved damage, but quicker reloads, and most importantly, improved bullet velocity. This means your shots will land much quicker than usual, helping you win just about every gunfight.
To that point, Lengthened is a great Ammo Type to equip in order to further optimize bullet velocity. With this AR setup, you’ll be connecting with your shots almost instantly.
Wrapping things up we have the Stippled Grip attachment for the Rear Grip of the STG44. Once again this helps improve recoil, but more importantly, it helps with initial accuracy.
Last but not least we have the Perks for the STG AR. For Proficiency, we went with Sleight of Hand to improve the reload speed of the STG44. This will help you in winning gunfights as the time to kill is so fast in Vanguard.
Meanwhile, for the Kit, we have Fully Loaded so that you won’t have to deal with a lack of ammo and the fear of running out in the middle of a gunfight.
Best STG44 Vanguard class: Perks, Equipment & Field Upgrade
- Perk 1: Ghost
- Perk 2: Radar
- Perk 3: Overkill
- Secondary: MP40
- Lethal: Thermite Grenade
- Tactical: Stim
- Field Upgrade Dead Drop
For the remainder of your STG44 loadout, it’s crucial you select the right Perks, Equipment, and Field Upgrades to complement this deadly STG44 AR build.
When it comes to Perks, there are two clear-cut options you simply can’t overlook. Both Ghost and Radar are essentially must-picks in Vanguard, as they clearly outweigh any other choice in their respective categories.

Ghost keeps you off enemy minimaps when Spy Planes are flying overhead and it helps to keep you secretive, though you might want to take Ninja if you’re a sneaky player who loves flanking and sneaking up on unsuspecting enemies.
Also, Radar reverts your minimap back to how it’s always worked in the CoD games. When enemies fire unsilenced weapons, you’ll know exactly where they are and you can go and pounce on their position.
For the final Perk, this is more down to personal preference but we’ve settled on Overkill as Vanguard doesn’t allow strong secondary weapons like Cold War did. So Overkill will allow you to apply another top weapon to your loadout if you run out of ammo for the STG or you need a quick switch.
We would highly recommend the MP40 as it’s simply amazing, especially with our best loadout for it.
For Equipment, the Thermite Grenade can cause a ton of damage either as a device on the ground for enemies to run into, but if you can stick someone with one, then it’s game over.
Similarly, Stims are a must-pick to keep you alive and back at full health immediately after gunfights. Not only that, but it also resets your Tac Sprint as well. Dead Drop is undeniably one of the strongest Field Upgrades in Vanguard and it can’t go amiss with this AR loadout.

- The STG44 has a quite high damage output but not the fastest fire rate. Ideally, you should focus on getting into medium to long-range gunfights.
- Perks Ghost & Radar work great in conjunction with each other. Ghost conceals you from the enemy mini-map while Radar reveals unsilenced enemies.
- Vanguard’s multiplayer is incredibly fast-paced. Use Stims to constantly be on the move, flank enemies, or make a quick escape from a perilous situation.
Also, remember to always develop a playstyle that feels the best for you. With that said, if you’re still struggling to succeed with the STG44, these tips should be helpful.

Alternative to the STG44 Vanguard loadout

The BAR may not be as easy to use as the STG44, but once you master this weapon, it can be one of the deadliest in the game.
