Ryan Garcia has sparked concern among his fans and fellow boxers after a disturbing video was posted to his X account.
The video footage is shaky, but it shows an unidentifiable man in a six second clip, with the following message written over it: ”We got him boys. RYAN GARCIA RIP B***H. 666. Video is exactly 666 in time. WE TOLD YOU WE WERE COMING.”
The message is then followed by a stream of random letters and a mention of Satan and the video is accompanied by a graphic tweet which reads: “MARCH 3 SUNDAY 2024 we slit RG THROAT AND THRU HIM IN A BASKET NOBODY WILL FIND HIM BSABJANANANANANAJQKA ANAIQNANSBSNANABA A SNSNSNWKWNA S ANANSNSN SATAN SITTING AT THE TOP NOW. 666.”
Garcia’s ex-wife expresses concern
It follows a stream of erratic behavior from Garcia all week during the press tour for his upcoming fight with Devin Haney.
The 25-year-old claimed to be “high as f**k” on Twitter Spaces and also admitted to drinking and smoking cannabis in a fiery press conference in Los Angeles.
Garcia arrived at said press conference on a horse and then controversially released sparring footage of Haney and Gervonta Davis when Haney was only 17. He also called out Jake Paul following his win on Saturday.
But the disturbing video has sparked concern among the boxing community ahead of such a dangerous fight and his ex-wife, Andrea Celina, took to Instagram to express her concerns.

“We are not together and I’ve been in contact with him and he may seen fine but he is not. I know in my heart he is being heavily oppressed.
“This is not a troll, I’m genuinely concerned and so is all his family members. We are not part of any of this and want him to get better but this IS REAL. Pray for him.”
Garcia’s dad posts update
His father, Henry Garcia, provided an update on Instagram as he replied to a fan’s concern by saying: “Yes. Ryan is ok, he’s just trolling the wrong way.”
Garcia is yet to post another update on social media since those worrying messages and his promoters, Golden Boy Boxing, are yet to comment on the matter.
His fight with Haney is scheduled to take place on April 20 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
