Yes, you can romance multiple companions in Baldur’s Gate 3. However, there are a few complications that you will run into while trying to get into multiple romantic relationships. Most characters in the game are not fond of multiple romantic partners.

This means they will get angry once you deepen the bond with someone, and the other characters will break apart from you.

Characters who support polyamory in Baldur’s Gate 3

Here are the BG3 characters that are willing to engage in a polyamorous relationship:

Halsin

Halsin is the top contender if you’re looking for a polyamorous relationship in BG3. From the get-go, Halsin seems quite open to having multiple romantic partners, particularly with Astarion. You can approach him about a romantic relationship in Act Two.

Minthara

Minthara is another character in Baldur’s Gate 3 who is open to having an open relationship, but some conditions must be met. Other characters, like Halsin, Wyll, and Karlach, don’t get along with Minthara and will immediately leave your party if they romance Minthara. Like Halsin, she’s available in Act Two as a romantic partner.

Wyll

Karlach

Initially, Karlach is open to a polyamorous relationship, especially with Shadowheart. However, as her character progresses past Act One, her ideals change as she starts favoring a monogamous relationship.

Lae’Zel

As a Githyanki warrior, Lae’Zel lives on the edge as she likes bloodshed, violence and decisions that require intimidation. However, she prefers to be strictly exclusive when it comes to relationships. That being said, romancing Lae’Zel might prove to be detrimental to Kalrach.
