These events pit content creators against others in a few matches of the battle royale, with a pretty nice prize pool usually on the line. Their March 9 event is set to be no different as 20 teams will hop into the World’s Edge map and look to claim the $15,000 first-place prize. So, here’s everything you need to know about the tournament.

What are the teams for the March 9 Code Red Apex Legends tournament?

As already mentioned, 20 teams of three players will be contesting the March 9 Code Red event. These teams vary in strength and backgrounds – with streamers from both Twitch and Mixer partnering with YouTubers, though not all the streamers are full focused on shooter games.

The standout line-up comes in the form of Dr Disrespect, Shroud, and Bnans. The Doc and Shroud have always been a fierce duo when they’ve teamed up together, and that should be no different here.

There are also notable trios like LuluLuvely’s team, as she partners with Snipedown and Crowder. There is also Skadoodle’s team – featuring himself, Seagull, and syncedez – and even Nicewigg’s line-up that will see him team up with Daltoosh and Jonny.

What is the format?

The teams will compete in six rounds of custom matches, with the objective being more about racking up kills than becoming Apex Champions.

Teams will score one point for each kill they pick up, with no placement points on offer. At the end of the six matches, scores will be tallied and the final standings will be set and revealed on the BoomTV event hub
