Popular Apex Legends streamer Brandon ‘aceu’ Winn has shown why Rampart is “busted” in Season 13 with an array of incredible plays.

In the Apex Legends Season 13 update, Respawn decided to buff Rampart by decreasing the spin-up time on her Ultimate and the time it takes for her to set up her Amped Cover.

Despite these positive changes, the Amped Modder has retained a relatively low pick rate of 2.5%, with a lot of players calling on Respawn to make further alterations to her kit in the future.

Of course, not everyone agrees that she’s a weak pick in the current meta, with popular streamer aceu playing her nonstop throughout Season 13.

Calling out Rampart as “busted”, aceu continues to pull off highlight-reel plays with the Amped Modder and is convinced she’s a deadly pick if you know how to use her properly.

Aceu thinks Rampart is “busted” in Season 13

While aceu is arguably most well-known for his skill on both Wraith and Horizon, it’s Rampart that’s taken over his streams in Season 13.

Ever since the changes that arrived back in May, the streamer has been a huge advocate for the Amped Modder, pairing her damage-boosting cover with the Bocek Bow, and melting squads with her devastating Ultimate ability.

In a recent video, aceu even labeled Rampart as a “busted” pick in the current meta after wiping out a group of enemies with Shiela. Thanks to the buffs, the decreased spin-up time makes it extremely difficult for an opponent to fight back against the powerful mini-gun.

On top of that, the cover from the Tactical ensures you’ll always get the first shot off on an enemy, giving you the advantage in the majority of gunfights.

While it’s unlikely that we’ll be seeing Rampart in competitive play anytime soon, there’s no denying that she can be a deadly Legend if used correctly.

However, pulling out her Ultimate at the wrong time can result in you being one-shot, so it’s important to know when it’s best to keep Sheila under wraps, and instead wait for the perfect opportunity.

Either way, aceu’s endorsement is certainly a good reason to give the Amped Modder a try, especially if you’re looking for a new Legend to main.
