My Hero Academia Chapter 426 is back with its spoilers after the long hiatus. So, let’s discuss what happens in the new chapter and when it’ll be released.
The story of My Hero Academia is coming to an end soon. The manga has already wrapped up its last arc and is currently in the middle of the epilogue. However, there’s still some time left before the much-anticipated manga ending.
My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi recently revealed that his lauded manga will end after five chapters on August 5, 2024. The author had previously clarified that he’d like to give his characters and readers proper closure after ten years of this journey.
So, we can expect to see more of Deku and his friends before we reach the endgame. Given how many loose ends there still are, this decision will be beneficial for the story. In fact, one such plot point is finally resolved in My Hero Academia Chapter 426.

My Hero Academia Chapter 426 spoilers
The title of My Hero Academia Chapter 426 is ‘The Hellish Todoroki Family – Final’. Dabi’s survival is confirmed in this chapter. It starts with the entire Todoroki family reuniting in the facility Chapter 425 ended in. Rei’s face is badly burned; Fuyumi is also injured and Natsu is relatively well.
Endeavor tells everyone they didn’t have to come. But Shoto says that he’s come to fulfil his mission, and so have the rest of the family. The doctor informs them that Dabi is dying. The eldest Todoroki regrets not being able to talk to him sooner as he’s been wanting to since before the war.
He tells Dabi, “The hero Endeavor burned to death.” hinting at his retirement. However, the fallen villain isn’t moved as he says, “Oh, really? My condolences. Giving me all your attention after everything’s over is easy, you coward.”
Endeavor says Dabi understands him very well since he’s been watching him all this time, and he wanted his father to do the same. He has flashbacks of Toya’s childhood and says that despite Deku’s assurance that Dabi isn’t Endeavor, there’s no denying that the villain’s flames came from his Hellflame.

He watches Dabi’s video everyday and plans to talk to him everyday from now on. The former hero sees a vision of him talking with Toya; he doesn’t have one arm and Toya’s hair is white again despite still having his scars. Dabi’s heartbeat can be heard from the machine.
Endeavor is prepared to take all of his eldest son’s hatred, given his past sins. Rei and Fuyumi also want to talk to Dabi, but the doctor says so much strain won’t be good for the patient. But before they leave, Shoto has one question for his eldest brother: what’s his favorite food.
Despite everything, Dabi answers, “Soba,” and Shoto says, “Same.” The eldest Todoroki sibling tears up and apologizes to his brother, showing true regret.
After they leave the facility, Natsu reveals that he won’t meet Enji anymore. He’ll marry his girlfriend but he doesn’t want to introduce her with his father. Fuyumi reveals she’s left her previous job but now has a new one. Shoto reassures his family that he’ll be alright with his classmates as he’s a goal now.
Enji is still full of remorse and promises his family he won’t let Dabi’s scandal affect their lives; he’ll be the one dancing with Dabi in hell. Natsu says it was the first time he ever considered his father cool. This brief scene is enough to convey that although things aren’t perfect in the family, it’s getting better.
Elsewhere in My Hero Academia Chapter 426, Hawks is seen having a conversation with Lady Nagant. She says she wants to stay in prison as she fears being used by the system again. However, she isn’t full of hatred anymore as she’s seen having a lighthearted moment with Hawks.
Then we see Gentle Criminal and La Brava embracing each other with joy. Their help during the war has been noted and they’ve been pardoned by the government. Hawks is then revealed to be the new president of the Public Safety Commission.
At the end of the chapter, Spinner is seen unconscious in a hospital room, terribly injured, as the door opens.
