Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 252 proves that Gojo was and will always be special, giving him the respect he deserved.
Gojo has always held the title of the “strongest” before Sukuna defeated him in the battle of the strongest. After his defeat, his iconic quote, “Nah, I’d win,” became a popular meme on social media platforms. However, he remains a fan-favorite character.
Like always, Jujutsu Kaisen delivers yet another thrilling chapter where the sorcerers continue to fight against Sukuna. Before the brief hiatus, Chapter 251 ends on a major cliffhanger with Maki entering the battlefield and impaling Sukuna from behind using her Split Soul Katana.
The scene is quite similar to the way Toji attacked Gojo in Gojo’s Past arc. Meanwhile, all this happens when Yuji and Yuta take serious damage after the King of Curses attacks them with his World-Cutting Slash. However, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 252 confirms giving Gojo the respect he deserves. Warning: This article contains spoilers from Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 252!
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 252 reveals Gojo was the only one who showed results
In Chapter 250, Sukuna also reveals that it’s not that he has low cursed energy due to his fight with Gojo, but every sorcerer has upgraded their defensive abilities. However, Yuta knows that if Gojo hadn’t damaged the King of Curses so much, he and Yuji would’ve died by now.

Additionally, in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 252, Uraume mocks the sorcerers for being unable to produce the same results as Satoru Gojo. As the chapter is about to end, we see a brief exchange between Hakari and Uraume, who are still fighting each other.
They’re both pretty beat up but don’t appear to have any serious injuries. Hakari is confident the sorceres will win, earning a mockery from Uraume. They know Sukuna is still not taking them seriously. In Uraume’s words, the sorcerers should be ashamed for not being able to show better results than Satoru Gojo.
Even if they were to ignore the after-effects of Sukuna’s fight with Gojo, the King of Curses still would not give his all. After Gojo’s death, Kashimo, Yuji, Higuruma, Choso, Ino, Kusakabe, Yuta, and Maki all attacked Sukuna. However, even with all of their efforts combined, they couldn’t do nearly enough damage as Gojo did alone.
This is a huge acknowledgment of the strongest sorcerer of the modern era who died while fighting the strongest sorcerer in history. Now it makes more sense why Sukuna was willing to acknowledge only Gojo’s strength and no one else’s. Chapter 252 ends with Sukuna looking more menacing than ever as he prepares for something dangerous.
