The Haikyu!! movie has jumped to the top of our most anticipated films list after the inceredible reception in Japan, and an English sub and dub just got one step closer.

So far, Haikyu!! the Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump has accrued multiple box office records, and the anime movie seems to be just getting started. Though a touch disappointing, this suggests Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle might be coming to a global audience sooner rather than latter. The film has now been translated and subtitled, so it’s just a matter of figuring out when the international release should start.

Typically, these films move onto other markets after the Japanese returns have peaked. So far, Haikyu!! is holding strong in the Japanese box office, continually making bank week after week. If I’d to guess, I’d say we’ll see a release some time during the summer, but that’s just speculation.
