My Hero Academia is shaping up to be a long time top hit for anime lovers, which strangely makes the Bikini Bottom residents a perfect casting choice in this incredible crossover.

In a Twitter post, user ‘JumJanz’ collaborated with their friend ‘Asian__equation’ to come up with an amazing reimagining that suits up Spongebob and friends in one of the show’s more notable posters.

The result is a slick design that flawlessly merges the styles of both shows while keeping the personalities of the characters intact.

Both main characters take center stage as Spongebob gets Midorya’s messy hair while being decked out in Deku’s outfit.

Meanwhile, Uraraka and Sandy Cheeks come together as the squirrel’s underwater helmet seamlessly completes the hero’s suit.

The feisty Bakugo has been fused with the always cynical Squidward. The design retools the hero’s powers by switching them with the explosive pies that made their appearance early in the Nickelodeon show.

The sidekicks take center stage

Spongebob’s polarizing pet snail, Gary fittingly replaces Todoroki. Although the poster hilariously fixes the hero’s white and red hair atop of the snails giant eyes, which also reflect the red and blue irises.

Mermaid Man is prominently featured in All-Might’s place which, other than the MHA artstyle, is basically like how the underwater hero would have looked like in his younger years.

The other part of the heroic duo sees Barnacle Boy in the style of Sir Nighteye, who might be getting a bigger role in the anime’s upcoming seasons.

SpongeBob’s trusty best friend Patrick replaces class 1-A’s student representative, Iida. On the opposite side of the speed spectrum, Patrick’s boulder home has been fitted with Kirishima’s spiky red hair that would take the hero’s body hardening ability to another level.
