Netflix has ventured into the world of anime once more, having secured a massive deal with the likes of Death Note and Hunter x Hunter coming to the streaming platform.
The popular streaming platform Netflix has just signed a deal with Nippon TV, Japan’s leading multiplatform entertainment powerhouse and owner of Hulu Japan.
This deal will mean that a large number of animes will now be coming to Netflix to stream non-exclusively around the world, and this number includes some big names.
This deal comes after two prior deals between the companies, with the hit reality TV show Old Enough (where young children are tasked with running errands) being the most popular show to come out of this deal.
Which animes will be released on Netflix soon?
A total of 13 animes will be coming to Netflix as a result of this deal.
While the dates of release haven’t been confirmed for every anime, we do know that three will be arriving on the platform on September 1: hit shonen series Hunter X Hunter (its first 38 episodes), fantasy epic Claymore, and romantic comedy Ouran High School Host Club.
